*UPDATE* PLEASE KEEP SHARING & DONATING. WE APPRECIATE YOU, THANK YOU. LINK IN BIO
Alaska is finally out the hospital after more than a week of hospitalization. He needed to rest, and being unable to go to the restroom and the immense it was the only choice. Nevertheless, we all missed him. His sister, Frida, can’t stop being around him but I gotta make sure she doesn’t sit on his accidentally his her phat booty. But He’s doing better, still cries as he can’t walk but much better. It’s hard, it’s hard because I’m used to his high energy. He’s loves getting his high energy out by running and playing as much as possible and I have to restrict his as much as possible until he gets his first laser treatment and stitches removed. So I know he dislikes it, I dislike it but we gotta stay strong. Thank you for donating and sharing, all of the surgery is mostly paid just gotta worry about his post treatments but we got this. Keep sharing/donating, we appreciate you. VENMO/CASHAPP @ ROGERRATCHET

Hello! I'm trying my best to type this as my heart feels extremely heavy right now with this sad news. I can't help but fathom a day where I wont be able to run or play with my friend. I knew a day where he would say goodbye would come later in his life, just not this early. Yesterday, Alaska got out from the backyard and a van hit him (twice). Witnesses said the van hit my Alaska and then decided to flee the situation and ran him over again!? My worst fear as a fur dad had came true. Seeing him laying in the middle of the roads with his loud cries broke me even more. After carefully adjusting a blanket under him, we (strangers & I) were able to put him in my car and rush him to the vet. Even more bad news came, Alaska's pelvic bone on the left side is broken and twisted out of place. Unfortunately, Monte Vista Small Animal Hospital cannot perform surgery because he needs specialist. A special operation that I would need to travel to Sage Hospital in Dublin and will cost me around $5,000. As a waiter going to school, the cost for his care is adding up and I need help. I applied to PetCareCredit and got approved for $1,500 which helped for his x-rays, anti pain medications and exams for his 3 different vet visits but wont be enough to cover his surgery. The vet also recommended euthanasia but I cant put him to sleep. The day of not going on a jog with him to pull me run faster because im too slow for him, or not playing in the snow at Yosemite with him or just to enjoy the ocean waves during summer together really breaks my heart. If you can please donate anything to help out my best friend, we (Alaska & I) would totally appreciate. Thank you for your time and support. we deeply appreciate it.

Update #7

It’s the day before the surgery and Alaska and I are both nervous, excited but above all we’re extremely grateful for every single one of you who’s contributed in some way. With everyone who’s donated via cash ($56), Venmo ($1,341), CASHAPP ($92.38) and FUNDLY ($2,543) we’ve been able to fundraise $4,036.38. WOW. With surgery being tomorrow, I will have to pay most of it but the rest will have to be paid when I pick up Alaska this Friday January 24th. Spending all of my savings and using the PetCareCredit I applied for on Alaska’s three different vet visits and medication I still need $968. PLEASE KEEP SHARING & DONATING, WERE ALMOST THERE. WE APPRECIATE IT DEEPLY. GRACIAS

It's day 5 and Alaska is still crying about his pain. I'm crying about his pain. It sucks seeing him like this but I have to be strong in order to do my best to feed him, clean him and give him his medicine. It's though because because every move is excruciating but he's a strong pup. The surgery is scheduled for Tuesday and honestly I'm counting every minute until then. Keep sharing and donating, Were halfway there!!! We appreciate every bit of it! Thank you!!

Update #5

FRIENDS & FAMILY PLEASE SHARE &/OR DONATE, WE BOTH APPRECIATE IT DEEPLY!! 💕😔

Vet#3 today, and a third time to find a way to relax him during our way to Beckwith Vet Hospital. We got good news and bad news, the good news is that we got a wayyyy lower estimate $5,000. The bad news, he won’t be seen until Tuesday. After being checked up three separate times, he’s doing pretty good he’s just in immense pain. I mean, snaaaap so would I if I had a van ran me over twice. Thank you soo much for everyone who’s helped, we deeply appreciate it. We’re half way there! KEEP SHARING &/OR DONATING, WE LOVE YOU 😔💕😔💕😔

Update #4

I have been sick with the flu for a week, my sleep schedule is all over the place and all I can hear internally is Alaska’s crying. But I have to stay positive, for him. Today we went to Sage Hospital to get a checkup to see how they can help and after seeing the assistant come through the door, more disbelief came to my attention. Alaska has a broken twisted pelvic bone on his right side. Initially we thought after painfully drilling his bone back to his spine it would fix the problem, but now they must do that to both sides to help his back stabilize evenly. (I know, it hurts me just thinking about that) Luckily, the vet said he would hopefully have a full recovery. The problem is now the surgery doubled to around $9-10,000 due to cost of everything he’ll need. So far we’ve raised over $1,826 in both the fundly account & Venmo/CASHAPP donations and we both couldn’t appreciate it more from the bottom of our corazon. A community member referenced me this vet in Modesto who may be able to help! (IF SO, THEYRE CHEAPER!!) We will see what the doctor says tomorrow. I hope he can, if not we would have to fundraise as much as possible to go to the Sage Vet ASAP. Thank you for everyone who has shared, donated and reached out. I deeply appreciate it, I’m sorry if I take some time to reply/thank every single one of you. If im not with Alaska, I’m online researching ways to help him or simply trying to breathe in this flu season. We both appreciate your help. Usually he pulls me during our jogs but now I’m trying to push him to a healthy and fast recovery. I just wanna see his dorky smile again as we dance to music around the house. Again thank you for the help and keep sharing and donating!!
