Single Mom Recovering From Illness Needs Help

I became ill with strep throat on December 26, 2021. The strep infection responded to antibiotics, however, I remained ill with multiple other symptoms such as fatigue, dry cough, etc. No one could figure out why. I would start to feel slightly better, go back to work and have to leave again. Ultimately in September 2022, I had to quite my job. I also have my own business, but it requires me to put time and energy into making products and seeing clients. I felt very unwell  and unable to do much for a long time. During the majority of time I've been ill, I have lived off money from the sale of my previous home and used credit cards. Needless to say, my savings is all gone, and I'm behind on bills, rent, etc. at this point. Inflation definitely didn't help! I'm feeling somewhat better but I am still unable to do anything that requires much physical exertion. I've been applying for work from home jobs the past couple of months, but no luck yet. However, I have faith that something will come through soon! 

I'm working hard in my business, The Sacred Mirror, to expand and increase income. I recently started another project/business called When The Children Speak where my goal is to amplify children's voices, raise awareness about abuse in our systems, and support parents who are in custody battles with abusers. I also drive uber eats on the weekends. 

I have a fourteen year old son, and he is the best thing in my life! We have been through so much in the past five years outside of what's going on now. We also have 7 cats that depend upon our care, all rescues. 

The stress of this entire situation has been tremendous. I was in a great place financially after I sold my home and had planned to invest the money. I definitely did not see myself not working, but my body gave me no choice. 

One upside to all this is that I now qualify for free health insurance, however, I'm several months behind on multiple credit card payments and bills and have car repairs that need to be addressed. The main priorities at this time are rent $2710 (past due), electric $689.26 (past due), car loan payment $387.69, car insurance $440.39 (past due) and car repairs. 

I'm really bad at asking for help and posting on a site such as this is a big step for me. It's an even bigger step for me to share this on my personal Facebook page. I've always been extremely independent. One thing that I'm learning during this challenging time is that it's okay to ask for help. Any amount of help is greatly appreciated!
