Trash dumpsters and equipment to provide the community with affordable waste disposal that was stripped from them by the EPA. This will include new waste receptacles, trailers, and a truck.
Chandler, Ok used to have a bulk waste area for the community to haul off all their unwanted large trash, brush, and general accumulated stuff. It was deemed by the EPA that this small town could no longer provide the service because it was located on a Waste Water Facility. This service was provided by the city for a small fee. Now in order for the residents to haul off their large unwanted items they must either haul them 60+ miles to a landfill or dump them along a county road or in someone's pasture. We have seen a large increase in illegal dumping since the city lost its right to provide this service. Our goal is to provide a similar service by renting smaller dumpster units to the town, individuals, and companies for an affordable price. This will include the delivery and pickup of the trash receptacle and the delivery to the landfill to help keep our county and town beautiful. We are just remote enough and the town is small enough that larger providers of these services charge what some feel are outrageous prices to provide these services. The smaller container sizes we will use will help to conserve fuel, lower overhead, and save the community money. Another benefit these dumpsters will provide is being available during storm and natural disaster cleanup. We are located in Tornado Alley and there is never a shortage of debris cleanup from February through November. We ask that you help us help this community achieve a cleaner, healthier town and lifestyle. We will use this money to fund 5 smaller trailers perfect for a homeowner to have in their driveway, 10 larger 15-25 yard dumpster bins for larger bulk trash, and a truck to move the trailers around and load, haul and unload the dumpster bins. We will also be locating and purchasing a Skid Steer to assist with cleanup of areas littered with trash and with storm damage and cleanup. I realize that many people get on here and ask for funding and never have any of their own skin in the game. I am personally sinking $50K of my own money into this fundraiser because I believe in what we are doing. I have also been devoting my days to helping get this off the ground and hope that with your help we can make this a reality for this community and maybe even stretch it out to help communities a little further out.
