Hearts and Minds Expedition show

Hearts and Minds Expedition is a one-hour unscripted docu-drama TV series that features four military veterans on a daring 5,000-mile expedition of discovery through the Middle East. They’ll journey from Lebanon to Afghanistan staying with locals and diving into cultures in countries where they have served and where so many of their fellow Americans have fallen. Their mission is to discover the true people behind the headlines, engage in cultural exchange for a better understanding, enable healing, and win hearts and minds. It’s a fascinating goodwill trek that guarantees adventure, danger, comedy, emotion, and a stunning insider’s view of a world in which our military involvement has shaped America’s 21st century.

This is an adventure travel show like Globe Trekker, The Amazing Race, Man vs. Wild, Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations, and Expedition Unknown. 

Hearts & Minds Expedition fits firmly into this adventure travel category while remaining powerfully unique: “A team of veterans boldly traveling the world, through countries where they have fought, meeting real people with stories to tell,  reversing perceptions from the news media, seeking understanding through cultural exchange, praying over American battlefields, helping charities, and making friends.”

Right now, we are in high-level discussions with a major studio/production company to begin pre-production. However, production schedules are in flux because of COVID delays we run the risk of losing this opportunity.

There are three ways to partner with us: 

1. Make a donation towards our pre-production costs to keep the project alive and moving forward. Receive a FREE t-shirt for a donation of $50 or more. 

2. Casting Call: Help us find an Iraq or Afghanistan combat veteran who would like to try out for the show. This is unscripted Reality, so we are looking for good adventurous veterans with a story to tell. One combat veteran from each branch: Army, Navy, Air Force, & Marines.

3. Help us find friends or family in the Middle East who can assist on the ground or even participate in the show. See a list of the countries below.

Right now, we are starting a six-month pre-production phase and your donation will fund expedition safety and security planning with an international agency, logistics planning, casting calls and travel, international travel (when able) for location scouting and host/guide casting, product placement negotiations, language classes, physical fitness training, off-road driver training, helicopter flight refresher training, and visa applications.

As for Middle East connections, we need the help of people from LEBANON, SYRIA, JORDAN, SAUDI ARABIA, KUWAIT, IRAQ, IRAN, and AFGHANISTAN, or those who have family living in these countries.
