Eleanor was formally pulled from Shelter ownership by Lab Rescue of the LRCP. We transported her to a referral hospital in Wilmington for her first surgery. All funds raised to date on this campaign will be used to pay the emergency stabilization fees initially incurred at Carolina Veterinary Hospital. All further donations can be made through Lab Rescue of the LRCP.
Eleanor was originally treated at a local veterinary hospital for stabilization and to ensure pain management until her stray hold was completed with the intention to have her pulled from Shelter by a rescue once her stray hold was completed. This campaign was originally intended to help pay for a life-sparing surgery (amputation and other procedures), but has been adjusted to only cover cost of initial stabilization and hospitalization for the 7 days she spent at the small local hospital that originally treated her.
