Built in 1965, the Hayward Seventh-day Adventist Church is in dire need of remodeling. Our members have already raised a significant amount of the needed funds, but we still have a long way to go. We need your help.
The Hayward Seventh-day Adventist Church has tried to be a light on a hill to our community since before its building was completed on Gading Road in 1965. Because of its sheltering presence, we have been able to offer healing to sick souls and food for the hungry, but this outward focus has allowed the ravages of time to tarnish our once-beautiful temple. To our own embarrassment, little-to-no effort has been directed toward the appearance of our precious lighthouse in the past 55 years, where we study God's Word, and share in His great fellowship. Now that our eyes have been fully opened to its derelict condition, our great desire is to update, and upgrade our facility to better reflect our love and respect for our God, and to better welcome and serve those who will seek shelter and comfort from the ever-threatening world.Taking the responsibility for the neglect of God's house, our church members have moved in faith, raising money, and even beginning the work of renewal in our sanctuary. We are excited to step out in faith toward the completion of the work to which we believe God has called us, but realize that the task is bigger than our efforts alone can accomplish. We humbly ask, in the name and for the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ, will you help us by way of your much-coveted prayers and generous donations to our cause? Jesus said, in Luke 14:28, "For which of you, intending to build a tower, does not first sit down and count the cost, whether he may have enough to finish it?" Well, we have, believing that He will provide, we have begun to lay the foundation of this work, for we know our time in this world is short. Please, help us to see it through.May God richly bless you, and as His great generosity spills over, may it bless those around you!Thank you, from your brothers & sisters in Christ at the Hayward SDA Church.
