GUIEP Earthquake Prediction and Research

From Emily Y.

Hello! We are a non-profit research organization called GUIEP, the GU Institute of Earthquake Prediction. Our goal and purpose is to study and expand the fact that earthquakes are predictable.

My name is Emily and I recently began volunteering for the GU Institute of Earthquake Prediction (GUIEP). Our program is an easily accessible platform open to scientists all around the world, especially those who are interested in earthquake prediction and research.

Neither the USGS nor any other scientists have ever predicted a major earthquake. Our scientists can only calculate the probability that a significant earthquake will occur in a specific area within a certain number of years.

We aim to predict the time, place, and magnitude of a strong earthquake accurately. This includes: the type (to pinpoint whether there is a subsequent possibility of a larger earthquake right after), the prediction of the time of aftershocks (another component important to reducing disaster losses), and the prediction of the last strong aftershock (to come to the conclusion of if the earthquake sequence has terminated or not).

It is our firm belief that having valuable donations and using them wisely and selectively will help predict earthquakes and educate people about the topic to create safer communities and save lives.

Please consider making a contribution to the GU Institute and help us continue our research and outreach to protect endangered earthquake prone populations. We keep our administrative costs very low, offer high quality results and carefully measure, quantify and publicize our outcomes, maximizing our opportunities for success. If you have any questions about GU Institute of Earthquake Prediction pleas feel free to contact Dr. Gu. The contact information is on our website as well (http://www.guiep.org).
