I'm Kevin Dee, former president of the NJ/NY Alumni Network, and currently the Scholarship Fundraising Chair. This donation drive will give you the chance to contribute to the Scholarship Fund and earn an invitation to the Site Tour on Dec 14th.
As you may know, there are only 12 spots available, so this is a very special opportunity. This event will serve a dual purpose. To help support the Local Scholarship Fund, and to create an event that you will remember for the rest of your life.
Our scholarship interview team spends a great amount of time behind the scenes, running our scholarship program. From fundraising and planning, to interviewing local students and Presidential Scholarship candidates. Every dollar raised by our alumni helps build up the Georgia Tech Network, even from far away in the New York and New Jersey area.
We will be holding a Fundraising Donation Drive to help reach our goals and winners will be granted an invite to the event. With $75 as the minimum and $300 as the highest level. At the $300 donation level, you are able to bring a guest for free. At the $200 level, you will receive and door price at the next Game Watch Raffle, or have one mailed to you. We will notify you if you are a winner by December 7th and confirm meeting time and location for December 14th. If you end up not being selected, you will receive your donation back in full. Only Georgia Tech Alum please. With only 12 spots, no guests are allowed unless the $300 donation is made, or they register themselves to donate and enter the Donation Drive.
Thank you so much for you support! I've served on the Scholarship Team for multiple years, so I know the hard work and rewarding outcomes that the fundraising program provides. It allows the Scholarship Team to function and keep up their goals in finding great students for the next Georgia Tech fall class. GO JACKETS!
