Having a baby was a dream of Chris and Jennifer Hauck's, but it was not to be, at least not the traditional way. So for months, Jennifer underwent a series of shots and pills and doctor visits to try to have the baby through IVF. The first round didn't work. The couple was heartbroken. So she mustered up her courage and went through all of it again. Chris and Jennifer's prayers were answered when they heard the first quiet heartbeat's of who would be their new baby boy.
But Griffin was eager to be in this world. He decided to come quite a bit earlier than planned. Jennifer had to be airlifted to Spokane and though delivery went well and Griffin is developing perfectly, the cost of ICU, lodging for the family, the Life Flight ride and all of the bills that come with a non-traditional pregnancy and the time missed from work are piling up.When I tell you that this family is one of the most generous, kind, supportive, and loving families I know, I am not exaggerating. They have been there for so many of their friends and relatives, taking in strays (both human and animal) and always first to step up in a crisis. It is our chance to give back and to help alleviate the monetary burden that this family feels right now.If you have ever been touched by the kindness or help of Jennifer Baillargeon or Chris Hauck, will you take a moment to give? Or if you have a few extra dollars to support a kind and good family so that they may begin this new chapter of life with a little less fear of bills, I ask that you do so.And please share this message far and wide. Let's bring Jennifer and Griffin home with a little less burden.
