Two years ago, my life changed when I finally decided to embrace my natural hair and stopped wearing extensions. It was then that my spiritual journey went to the next level. I was learning the true definition of self-love and what it meant to harness my personal power. Although it started with my hair, it led me to my awareness of my spiritual connection to God. We always hear the phrase "Black girl magic" but what does that mean? Well, I took a trip to Africa to discover more about what makes black girls so magical. It was in my travels to Egypt I discovered the magic that truly exists within every black woman.
Through the art of storytelling and dance, we express our adoration to the orishas and pantheons by telling the truths that need to be heard. I know that this documentary will be educational, entertaining, and edifying to your soul. I appreciate your support, belief, and donations towards this project.
