About Us: Global Progress Initiative (GPI) is an independent, non-governmental and non-profit organization founded in 2020 by a team of US Army combat veterans with a collective 70 years of experience across operations, logistics and civil affairs.
Mission: GPI aims at reducing human suffering through research and action focused on resolving gaps in education, infrastructure and development, resulting in the support needed to create self sufficient growth.
Means: GPI offers logistics, operations and training support to assist vulnerable populations in austere areas, with a current focus on the War in Ukraine and providing assistance to Ukrainian, Polish and other Eastern European countries to support reconstruction.
Current Efforts: GPI is 100% funded by donation and we are currently seeking support for volunteers working in Ukraine who are facilitating training, education and medical support efforts.
GPI has made two trips to Eastern Europe since the beginning of the war. The first, in support of logistics and training in Lviv, Ukraine. The second, to deliver life saving equipment to volunteers in Poland who were going into Ukraine.
We are currently gathering medical supplies and protective equipment for firefighters and paramedics, who are still working amidst the Russian incursion. We intend to deliver these to the Ukrainian civil servants as soon as possible and provide further training in TCCC & TECC (Tactical Combat Casualty Care and Tactical Emergency Casualty Care).
