Your generous donation will assist us in conducting a surgical-medical-dental mission for the underprivileged in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria from March 5th to 9th, 2018.
Recently, a popular Nigerian sports coach collapsed in a stadium prior to a soccer match. Bystanders watched as he laid on the ground and NOT ONE PERSON ADMINISTERED CPR. Our organization has been vigilant in providing free CPR training to Road Safety Officers, Police Officers, and School Staff in regions like these where emergency medical response services do not exist.
In expanding our programs, we take into consideration the medical needs of communities we serve. Uyo with over 500,000 residents has few public hospitals. Only two years after opening, the largest hospital officially suspended operations in 10/2017 without advance notice or aid to its patients. St. Luke's Hospital remains steadfast in serving patients.
Working alongside the staff of St. Luke’s Hospital, Anua-Uyo and affiliates, our traveling medical team aims to provide quality care, tackling ailments with clear and proven treatments.
With your help, we will conduct several training sessions, including the first laparoscopic surgical camp for the local medical community. Services offered will include medical evaluations for various conditions, surgical cases, and dental procedures FREE OF CHARGE to all patients. We thank you for visiting our site, and appreciate your thoughtful donations.
