The program offers a wide range of educational, social, and cultural enrichment activities. As many youths have forgotten the importance of service and volunteerism, participants in this program will be required to do volunteer work and develop a service project. One important aspect of the program involves raising funds to support the Memphis Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority’s Maggie McDowell Scholarship Fund. These scholarships will be awarded to students who may not be able to attend college otherwise. Coronation winners will be determined based on a number of variables, including the number of advertisements, patrons, and other creative fundraising ideas they implement.
