As stated, I am a junior at Arizona State University( ASU)  majoring in Justice studies with a concentration in Women's studies. During my time at ASU, I have dedicated my studies, as well as my free time to volunteering in Phoenix community assisting domestic violence survivors and young girls in under-served communities. Some of the work I have participated in includes packing 'period- packs' of hygiene products for young girls in school districts and families where they may not be accessible;  cleaning the streets in urban neighbors of Phoenix, and working with Feed My Starving Children organization to package boxes of food for developing nations.

I am very passionate about serving others and giving back in any way that I can. Advocating for women's rights and speaking up for those who cannot themselves has always been a key motivator for my educational studies. I intend to further my education by pursuing a graduate degree to strengthen my advocacy and leadership skills. It is my goal to one day advocate for women around the world and inspire young girls to use their voices as a source of power and their hearts as a lighter to ignite change.

My hope is to gain insight on the best ways to connect and advocate for women internationally by understanding their needs from the place they call home.

I hope you will support my journey.

Thank you,

Asia M.
