Social justice warrior trying to get to law school

From Ashley Jones

I'm raising money to further my education. The funds will go towards obtaining my transcript and allow me to start my law school journey. I desire to learn, to grow, and to fix the system.

More Info

Hello! My name is Ashley and I am 28 years old. I have a Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice Administration with a minor in Sociology. I work as a social worker and since childhood have always dreamed of working in a courtroom. Nightly I would watch Law and Order, New York Undercover, and other crime dramas. However, I always felt drawn to the courtroom and criminal matters. At the age of 11, after watching a documentary on juveniles in the justice system, I knew my calling was to work on the other side of law, the criminal defense. Growing up and experiencing others trials and tribulations with an unjust system sparked a fire within me to be a social justice warrior. Even more in this day and age, that fire rages on. Sadly I am stuck with student debt that working as a social worker doesn't help alleviate. I have put off law school for years due to my debt preventing me from getting my transcript. I hope the kindness of strangers helps me help others.
