I am raising money to pay for the funeral costs to transport the remains of my mother, who passed in Long Island N.Y., to her final resting place in StThomas U.S. Virgin Islands.
On December 26th, 2020 the unexpected and unfortunate passing of Irma McDougal, mother of Tanya McDougal and Kala Kambon (aka Monique McDougal), occurred in Long Island New York, while she was slowly recovering from several strokes within the last year.
Although, she left behind her 2 children and 6 grandchildren, 6 siblings, and several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles, her legacy of strength, wisdom, kindness and generosity, sharp intuition, very much lives on through the next generation of lives she's touched and influenced.
To honor her memory her daughters would like to fulfill her wish of being buried by her parents in StThomas, U.S. Virgin Islands.
However, in order to assist in making this happen her family is in need of financial support.
You can help support us with the financial donations needed to 'Help Get Mommy Home' to StThomas, where she wanted her final resting place to be.
Donations will cover costs for airfare to transport her remains, and the cost for all funeral and burial expenses while in StThomas.
Her love, giving spirit, and support for everyone she knew will not be forgotten. We ask that with all of the many years that she openly gave her time, money, energy and care to so many others that some of it can come back to her now when she needs it the most.
