Help support our chapter in raising money for Alpha Chi Omega at Loyola Marymount University's first annual philanthropy event, GI Alpha Chi. All our proceeds support The Alexandria House.
This year is our first annual G.I. Alpha Chi. All of our proceeds are benefitting the Alexandria House.
The mission of the Alexandria House is to provide a sustainable community where women and children affected by domestic violence can live free from violence and associated threats. The Alexandria House focuses on providing a community where everyone is adequately fed, housed, educated and employed; a community that provides opportunities for meaningful participation, personal growth, and creative expression. Additionally, the Alexandria House works to help families transition from homelessness to permanent housing. We as members of Alpha Chi Omega serve this incredible cause by volunteering at the Alexandria House and by providing donations to help support the women and children.
The event is going to be a field games competition. The participants competing will have to make it through rounds of events like relay races and inflatable obstacle courses to make it to the final tug-a-war competition.
In every event or volunteer opportunity we engage in, we strive to spread awareness of Domestic Violence, as it is such a prevalent issue in our society, and especially on college campuses.
