Help Med Paw Help!

From Susan LaDue

Med Paw Help pays veterinary bills for low income pet owners who could not otherwise get the vaccinations or treatments that their pet needs. We need seed money to continue soliciting applications from pet owners.

Update #5

Meet Fleetwood Mac, a senior cat whose veterinary expenses Med Paw helped to defray. She's a sweetie and we wish her and her owner years of happy companionship!

More Info

Recently a woman juggling major medical bills called The Doggie Den (Med Paw Help's sponsor) to ask if they could help her place her shih tzu puppy.  She said a friend had given her the dog but she couldn't afford to pay for vaccinations.  She was upset because she lives alone and is attached to her puppy.  The Doggie Den gave her contact information to Med Paw Help and we were able to pay for the puppy's vaccinations.  We also committed to pay in the future because the dog greatly increases our friend's quality of life.

Help us reach out to more people like the lady with the shih tzu! $5 or $500, it doesn't matter.  Every dollar goes to veterinary care for an animal who would not otherwise get to a veterinarian.

Update #4

Please note: we respect our pet owner clients' privacy so we don't release their names or any actual pictures of their pets. Instead, we look for pictures that closely resemble the pets we've supported.

Update #3

A big shout out to Cheryl and Joe LaPriore. Thanks to their generosity, Rima, a rescue from a puppy mill, will be able to have surgery on her broken leg. Rima was injured shortly after she was born and was never treated until now. With the help of people like Cheryl and Joe, Rima may be able to romp and play like any lab pup!
