Fund our Dancers a Van for transportation!

Fund our Dancers a Van for transportation!

From Nitty Thomas

Our non-profit has students all over the San Francisco School District. We would like to have funds to get a small Van to use as a pickup and dropoff for students who live too far from the studio.

Why Studio 121?

We are the only black-owned dance studio in San Francisco that specializes in providing a professional dance experience to students of color. Our studio promotes diversity and inclusion for students who may not typically be accepted in the dance community. At the same time, dancers are expected to work hard to advance their technique performance skills.

Who We Serve?

Studio 121 is dedicated to serving the students in traditionally diverse areas in the city. Although our company is looking to expand in upcoming years, our origins remain in the heart of the Fillmore District and we will continue to support the students who live and go to school in those regions.

Solution?

Studio 121 is a non-profit organization that trains dancers of all levels in a wide range of dance styles. Our goal is to provide a professional experience to youth that will develop technique, build character, give them the skills to express their creative potential.

Studio 121 also encompasses NDCO., a nationally recognized dance team that has competed across the country. The team has received several honors over the years, including a World Championship at The Dance Summit held in Orlando Florida.

With donated funds, we can secure a Van that can perform Pick-up and Drop-off from school to the studio. This way, the dancers aren't at risk of catching public transportation alone or getting lost on the way to the studio. Safety is our main concern in a huge city, a Van would be the best gift ever.
