JOIN OUR VOLUNTEER GROUP
Since its opening day in February 2006, the Anacaona Library has operated fully as a volunteer -driven organization.
As a volunteer you agree with the vision, mission and values of the organization. We provide training and ongoing support to the best of our ability. Volunteers are resourceful and self-managed. Volunteers manage a shift of 2-4 hrs weekly, facilitating book circulation, shelving books, maintaining the facilities clean and accessible and providing friendly, courteous and culturally-respectful user-friendly service. Depending on the number of volunteers, library service is done in the company of another volunteer.
