We are overwhelmed with the positive response we received towards our content from Afghanistan. We’d like to invite you to partake in our fundraiser, which will support a 6-month curriculum for a group of 30 students.
We spent two weeks traveling all around the beautiful country of Afghanistan, province after province. We met with countless families, girls and boys, old and young, students and teachers. What started as a trip to tell their stories … turned into a trip that can change their lives.
We are overwhelmed with the positive response we received towards our content from Afghanistan. We’d like to invite you to make a contribution [of any dollar amount] that will support a 6-month curriculum for a group of 30 students. In a country where less than $10 can easily feed an entire family … every dollar goes an incredibly long way.
The donations from this fundraiser will provide school supplies, books, food, and teachers' salaries for roughly 6 months. This is a private fundraiser for people whom we’ve personally met and transparency is really important to us. This curriculum already exists, we saw it and met existing students and teachers. The money raised will replicate this program in Kabul (and possibly beyond). To maintain the privacy and safety of our recipients, we will be sharing more details & the progress privately with our donors. Everyone that donates will be able to speak to us personally via email, where we will share the progress and any other updates.
In the words of Nelson Mandela: “Education is the most powerful weapon, which you can use to change the world.” Afghanistan remains crippled by societal restrictions and the basic right to education has been effectively obliterated for so many people and especially women.
We hope to replicate this curriculum many times over and every dollar we raise over our goal will go towards the expansion of this project.
It takes very little to completely change someone's life.
