Friends of Dripping Springs Education is a group of volunteer citizens asking for your donations to support the passage of the Dripping Springs ISD 2022 Bond Referendum for our community and students.
Dear Fellow Dripping Springs ISD Supporter,
The Dripping Springs Independent School District (DSISD) has called for a bond referendum to support the need for new construction, renovations, and various district-wide improvements that will address rapid growth as well as aging facilities and technology.
The referendum was developed by the district’s Citizens’ Bond Steering Committee and adopted by the DSISD Board of Trustees. Financial advisors forecast a zero percent tax rate increase as a result of the passage of this bond referendum.
Hays County is one of the fastest growing counties in the United States and Dripping Springs ISD’s student population is expected to grow 85% in the next 10 years. In addition to needed improvements, this bond includes funding to design and build a new elementary school and a new high school, and to design elementary school #7 and a new middle school.
Friends of Dripping Springs Education is a group of volunteer citizens who have organized to support the bond referendum. Our committee is currently soliciting contributions to help fund our pro-bond campaign.
Since you are a valued friend of DSISD, we are asking for your help to communicate the need for these projects and the value they offer our students and our community. Are you and/or your company willing to contribute to this initiative? Your personal, employee, and/or corporate contribution is vital to our success, and greatly needed by September 30, 2022.
Donations will be used for production, printing, and postage costs associated with a full marketing campaign, including brochures, postcards, yard signs and the development of other media efforts to support the passage of this urgently needed initiative for our students.
We thank you in advance for your generosity. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at info@DSISDFriends.com.
