Freedom to Travel

More Info

Hello, my name is James. I am 32.

I have traveled to 58 countries so far.I technically was in 50 countries in 99 days during my last 107 day trip in 2016.

I started traveling in 2015 for the first time ever out of my country. I never had the chance before until I had to become self-employed to survive economically.

I mainly enjoy to travel the most because it makes me feel free. I lost my freedom for a year of my life for something I did not do when I was a teenager and it basically took away 7 years of my life in waiting. So now it means everything to me. Just to be free. I am glad for all the struggles I have had in my life though. They either brake you or make you stronger and they have inspired me to do things that I would have never dreamed of or accomplished without the obstacles in my path.

My life is the best it has ever been and I desire only to keep making more memories that I will remember for the rest of my life. The memories we have are the most valuable thing we can own.

My first trip was to Colombia for 7 days. Then later in 2015 I went to Mexico, Guatemala, Belize, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua and Costa Rica for 2 weeks.

On September 4th, 2016 I started my 107 day trip that covered most of Europe and a couple countries in Africa(Egypt & Tunisia), The Middle East(Jordan, Israel, United Arab Emirates), South America(Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Chile, Peru) and technically Asia in Cappadocia, Turkey. I still have not seen really any of Asia and that is my next goal!

My goal is to see as much of the world as I can and I would like to make Asia my next stop including countries such as Japan, China, Mongolia, Austrailia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Myanmar, Cambodia, Korea, Vietnam, Thailand, Laos, Philippines, Malaysia, Brunei, Indonesia, India, Nepal, Bangladesh.

My ultimate goal is to eventually see as much of the world as I can before my time runs out. I hope to reach 100+ countries one day and see most of Asia in my next trip and then one more future trip to Africa/Madagascar down the road.
