Dear friends. I have returned from my first week in Medjugorje. I am sharing some images of women and children of Ukraine. As we are collecting the funds, I want to let you know that two more busses are excepted to Medjugorje and it will help us provide and donate necessities for them. Thank you for your generosity and for helping us help others.

More Info

As people from Ukraine are seeking peace in my country, together with my friends, I went to Medjugorje to see them. I listened to my instincts and the need to welcome them if they do arrive, then I ended up the first and only photojournalist to welcome a bus full of women and children. Why is this important for me? As a war survivor who later was a refugee in the US, the first impressions you get in a new country are really important. It is important for people to feel the safety and warmth they hoped to find someplace else. And I can't explain the feeling when I stood with about 50 women and children who hugged and cried with me. They all matter to me.

My friends and I are making relief packages, so we are asking for your help. Yes, your contribution DOES make a difference. Also, you sharing our campaign will be more visible to others who are also able to contribute. You are helping us so we can help others.

We thank you!

Hvala vam!
