Please partner with us in making the third year of the Indigenous Wisdom & Permaculture Skills Convergence a success!

We are expecting over 100 participants to join us for a week of community building and hands-on skill building. As always, the IWPS Convergence is called in support of our host OLCERI (Oglala Lakota Cultural and Economic Revitalization Initiative) to complete their projects of food security and housing.

This year, at our week-long convergence we are planning:

  • a 3 day street medic training, with near 20 Lakota community members signed up to receive this life-saving training
  • building a wood-fired barrel oven
  • a rammed-earth style language school and cultural preservation center
  • planting out greenhouses as part of a reservation-wide food distribution network.

We are asking for help to raise funds for:

  • Project materials and building supplies
  • Gas money for First Nations elders and teachers from Pine Ridge reservation, the Navajo Nation, Rosebud reservation, and beyond
  • Food for delicious, nutritious, and locally-grown meals

THANK YOU for your partnership in creating a just and ecologically regenerative world!
