Invest in the Fischer for Council campaign to help plan today for a more sustainable future where we: Keep Petaluma Livable Build Community, and Balance City Obligations with Community Needs
We are less than 60 days into this campaign and have reached 30% of our goal with more than 90 days to go. Thank you to everyone who has shown their support!
I moved to Petaluma four years ago charmed by the immediate access to farm fresh food, the bicycle culture, the historic downtown on the river, and the easy exchanges I experienced meeting people on the street when walking my dog.
Disheartened by current actions being taken in Washington, I am choosing to be representative for positive change in our local community rather than to just sit back and criticize. I support more affordable housing for all Petaluma residents. I support more solutions to relieve our escalating traffic congestion. I support allocating the necessary resources for our City staff to provide adequate services to our community.
During my long career as an urban planner I had the opportunity to represent my community on the Planning Commission and my clients before numerous city boards and councils. My current role as a board member of the United States Green Building Council – Redwood Chapter, provides me the platform to integrate my ideals about the built environment and environs.

I am running a volunteer-driven campaign, but even with a volunteer effort, there are costs. I am asking if you could help us reach the modest fundraising goals we need to fund this grassroots campaign. Our city has a $200 maximum campaign contribution per individual. Please give whatever you can to help our campaign, Fischer for Council 2018.
I look forward to your support. In return, I pledge to serve as your voice and advocate in our wonderful community.
