Filtered Water Bottle Filling Station Fundraiser

My name is Ellie Mathers and I am an 8th-grade student at Lillian Larsen School in San Miguel.  I am currently working on a special project and am reaching out for community support. 

Staying hydrated is very important for optimal health and wellness especially when it is over 100 degrees many times during the school year.  Many of our students may not have the capability of grabbing a bottle of water at home or even access to drinking water. At Lillian Larsen school we would like to provide our campus of nearly 415 students with fresh, filtered drinking water.  The Elkay water bottle filling station can do just that. This water bottle filling station will offer cold, filtered water using a “no-touch” system, which is fast, and efficient. Most importantly, the filter will eliminate lead and contaminates, therefore, making it not only taste good, but safer for our students to drink.

Would you consider donating to our school to help purchase this system?  We are working to raise money by selling reusable water bottles to our students and staff but we are also reaching out to our community.  Any donation large or small will help us reach our goal of $2000 to purchase and install the system at our school. If you choose to donate, we will place your name or the name of your business on a special banner that will hang near the filling station to remind our students and families of the generosity of our community.
