Fighting with Ralph

From Leslie Hankel

Medical expenses as the bills are already rolling in, gas expenses to and from chemo, radiation, and appointments, and our mother will need to take off of work, so that will reduce their income significantly.

Update #1

Dad is on week 4 of Chemo and Radiation. He had to have his dosage lowered because his body could not handle the high dosages of Chemo. He seemed to take it well today compared to the last few weeks. Praying it goes this well every day.

More Info

Our father Ralph was diagnosed with Stage 3B N2 non-small cell lung cancer on August 3rd, 2018. Since then he has had a biopsy of the lung and they had to put a stent in his heart, to ensure his heart will handle the Chemo, Radiation and  other surgeries he will have to fight through. He will be having another operation on his throat to try to get rid of some of the cancer that has already spread to his windpipe. Five days after the surgery he will start Chemo and Radiation every day, 5 days a week for 7-8 weeks. Hearing news like this is something no family should go through. The hospital bills are already starting to come in as our Father's insurance will only cover some of it. We are setting up this page in hopes to help our Dad to pay for medical bills, gas to make it to and from appointments and treatment, and to help with expenses related to taking the time off of work.
