8 year old Zainab from Northern Pakistani city of Peshawar is suffering from Acute Biphenotypic Leukemia and has been under treatment for the same since 2013. He has now been advised Bone Marrow Transplant by his doctors at IRNUM Hospital Peshawar.Poor boy just lost his mother few months ago, who also suffered from cancer but did not have the funds to get appropriate cure.
The approximate cost of the BMT is between 30,000 $ including the costly medicines . One of our courageous friends has adopted this child but isnt able to arrange the funds in such a short period of time. Doctors have suggested an immediate operation if he is to survive.
She is a brilliant student and is studying in grade 3 .
All generous people are requested to chip in with whatever donations possible. Who knows she turns out to be the next Malala Yousufzai, as she hails from the same region.
NOTE : The deadline for us to save this life is by 15th april 2014.The sooner the better.It's not how much we give but how much love we put into giving. We aim to raise 100,000$ after this immediate need is fulfilled, in order to create an internet based marketplace to sustainably create funds to support poor children suffering from Leukemia in this region. Please note that because of 30 years war in Afghanistan and its fallout in Pakistan has resulted in alarming numbers of such child patients suffering this deadly disease . 5000 cases are reported every year and 80% donot have the funds to cure it.
