This year, we 5th graders are planning on taking our biggest trip yet: to Nashville, Tennessee to compete with other Waldorf schools from the East. The kiddos have been working hard all year practicing the javelin, discus, long jump, wrestling and running, and are ready to rise to the challenge! This fundraiser is to help pay for airfare and housing while we're in Tennessee for three days. ANY LITTLE BIT HELPS!!!!!!!!!!! <3
P.S. The Greek Olympics are taught as part of the Ancient Cultures curriculum that we teach in fifth grade. We start out with Ancient India, traveling to Persia, Mesopatamia, Egypt and finally Greece. The children live deeply into this Ancient culture by participating first hand in what took place so many years ago. Please help us to reach our goal and enliven their spirits!! <3
