More Info

The impact of COVID-19 is causing disproportionate impact on low-income college students across the country (not to mention the globe).  Low income students have access to some university resources while campus is open (campus housing, dining options, an emergency fund), but there are limitations to what the university can provide during closure. This is an unaffiliated, outside fund which has been created to offset some financial burdens on low income students, such as lost jobs and lost wages, travel, food insecurity, and shipping and storing items during move-out. The money will be disbursed in micro-scholarships directly to students to alleviate some immediate costs while they wait for more sufficient funding. Thank you for your consideration!
