Update #6

We have recently mailed off our first check of $5,000 to UCSan Diego to help store Harper's cells for the year. Our goal is continuous to reach $15,000 a year to store Harper's cells in order to do crucial research to help us learn more about CDKL5 and maybe one day find a cure for our effected kiddos. Thank YOU for your continuous support and generous donations! Please share our campaign and help us on our journey!

More Info

Hope4Harper's Harper and Sonya's Story Sonya (aka: Sonzee) have a unique bond in that they have brought together two mom's and two families who now have a mission to give their daughters' lives purpose.  Sadly in January of 2016, Sonya's CDKL5 sister, Harper, was taken too soon from complications of having a CDKL5 mutation.  Her parents gave the rest of our CDKL5 family a gift by donating her cells and brain to science to potentially help other children who suffer from the debilitating effects of having a CDKL5 mutation.  Sonya's Story was founded with the goal to help foster research projects such as the one Hope4Harper is participating in.  It costs $15,000 A YEAR to feed a cell line, and Harper has THREE.  Without maintaining the life of cell lines such as Harper's, the CDKL5 community does not stand as great a chance at finding a cure.

Please consider donating and sharing this goal!

Update #3

The money we are raising is going towards an "International Foundation for CDKL5 Research initiated project. Harper's contribution was her organs and we have been raising money to help keep her alive so that IFCR's money can be used for the actual research needed".. -Penny Howard (Harper's mom)
