About My Campaign

All donation received will go to both my dad's book launch program on Seed Industry Development in Nigeria as well as assist in his community service of feeding the community which he participated in while he was alive under the Joshua Foundation.

Dr. Adeyemi Joshua's utmost desire is to see everyone fed with good food that are grown locally with all the available high yielding crops which through his research, has helped and is still till date, a great resource to many Agricultural companies and organizations globally like Pioneer seeds, Premier seeds, IITA as well as the Food and Agricultural Organization. Below is an excerpt from his book :-

"IMPROVED SEED IS IMPORTANT IN MANY RESPECTS: IT IS VITAL AND HIGHLY COST-EFFECTIVE FOR ACCELERATING ABUNDANT, SUSTAINABLE FOOD PRODUCTION FOR THE NATION, MAKING FARMING PROFITABLE FOR FARMERS, ACCELERATING NATIONAL FOOD SELF-SUFFICIENCY, FACILITATING FOOD FOR ALL AT AFFORDABLE PRICES, PROMOTING LOCAL EMPLOYMENT GENERATION AND FOREIGN EXCHANGE EARNINGS.

GOVERNMENT, POLICY MAKERS, PATRIOTIC POLITICIANS, TECHNOCRATS AND AGRICULTURAL CROP PRODUCERS NEED TO NOTE THESE VITAL AND HIGHLY COST-EFFECTIVE CHARACTERISTICS OF IMPROVED SEEDS AND USE THEM IN PLANNING NATIONAL DEVELOPMENTAL PROJECTS' (Dr. Adeyemi Joshua, Seed Industry Development in Nigeria; 2. Seed Development Issues; 2.1 Classes of Improved Seed, Page 9)."

All his tips are well detailed and documented in his book "Seed Industry Development in Nigeria". With his global agricultural experience and expertise, his intent is to reach out first to the less privileged communities like the African countries, but his book and community service is certainly not limited to Africa, but a useful tool as a fore-sight on global agricultural development.
