Kenneth Robinson has served on The Midlands Fatherhood Board of Directors for 3 years. Kenneth has been in the banking business for over 20years. He served honorably in the United States Navy receiving high clearance of Secret while he served. Kenneth attended Columbia High School here in Columbia SC, where he played varsity tennis and football. Kenneth or "Kenny" as he is liked to be called, has (3) beautiful children, Cameran 14, Kyndall 13 and Kaiden 10. Kenny is also a Mason, with local lodge here in Columbia, Capital City #47. After Kenny's military career, he continued into banking. He has managed finance companies, credit unions and now banks. Kenny also serves on various local communities: Irmo Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, Richland School District One's Academy of Finance, previous served on Habitat for Humanity Advisory Board and Richland School District One's Career Education and Technology Board. Kenneth now works for Optus Bank, where he heads the Relationship Banking Department of the bank. In Kenneth's free time, he loves playing video games with his kids, he is passionate about fishing and his Dallas Cowboys. For the past 7 years, Kenny has become an expert on Nascar, and fantasy football, winning many fantasy leagues. Kenny believes strongly in Midlands Fatherhood. He has given many financial literacy classes to participants and staff alike. He believes in not only serving on the board, but been part of a "working board", where they give back their time and money. Kenneth continues to promote Midlands Fatherhood, by seeking out financial assistance, and always looking for people who believes in the mission. Kenneth says all the time, "serving the men and women of Midlands Fatherhood Coalition, is more than an honor, its my duty to give back to our communities".
