A stepping stone to become the farther I know I can be, yet to over come the hardships that has plagued me of not having a support system but to make one of my own.
Growing up as was a constant struggle. Bouncing between group homes and foster families, I never had the stability or support a child should have. Those early years molded me, though, and when I became a father of three myself, I was determined to provide them with the love and care I never had. But life took a difficult turn during the transition. With no family to lean on and facing financial setbacks, the weight of responsibility felt overwhelming. I’ve always been a fighter, though, and I believe that with just a little help, I can turn things around for my children and create a better life for them, breaking the cycle of hardship that has plagued my own past such an almost fatal car accident Christmas Eve in route to work now car less. With the future ahead I love my work with children and to help guide them and give them that compassion some lack in their environment one being home.
