SYNOPSIS:

After breaking up with her cheating fiancé, lawyer Yvonne is submitted to the worst cross-examination of a Nigerian woman’s life: her family. Will she make her case for independence, or will bend to the will of the FAMILY MEETING.

In this satirical take on th

e absurdity of reputation, gossip, and gender expectations, Yvonne must navigate the chaotic dynamics of independence vs the will of the collective. As grievances are laid to bear, all kinds of family secrets will be exposed.

ANY CONTRIBUTION HELPS!

Now more than ever, all of us need stories we can relate to and content we love. That’s why we do what we do. FAMILY MEETING is a completely independent production and making a film of this scope takes a large crew and budget. Up to this point, our creative endeavours have been entirely self-funded, but we're stepping it up a notch this year so we're asking for your help.  All help is appreciated, whether it's a donation of £10 or £100 - and be sure to give a shout out on social media! We are grateful for your support, and glad to welcome you all into our creative family!

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
