Every Paw Counts

Every Paw Counts

From Adebukola Alison Olagunju

I'm raising money for the money so i can save the stray animals in my neighborhood. They experience harsh treatments from people and some end up dead, others are hunted down because they are seen as nuisance.

My first pet, Tiberius was poisoned. I didn't have enough money to have him neutered, so he couldn't help but spray around the neighborhood. because he was friendly with humans, they had the opportunity to feed him and they poisoned him.

My second pet was also a stray cat, he had black fur and a lovely personality, i called him cuddles, cos he would always come close to me to cuddle up. I also didn't have enough money to have him neutered and he too was a wanderer, he was also very friendly. One evening he went out to spray and he didn't come back till the next morning, he was severely burnt. They had tied him up and poured kerosene on him and lit him on fire, but he was so strong and he come back home to be, I didn't know what to do, how to help him. He was in pure pain, so i ran to the pharmacy and got sliver sulphadiazine. He eventually died because he left one day and never returned. Tiberius and Cuddles have always been my motivation and reason for wanting to save as much animals as i can, please lend me your assistance.
