When Mirose was just 24 years old, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. At that time, she fought bravely through many courses of treatment, which sent the cancer into remission. For 26 years she lived a vibrant life and dedicated her time supporting other cancer patients through volunteerism and charitable efforts.

Recently, Mirose received the devastating news that her breast cancer has returned. Her new diagnosis revealed T3 N1b M0 cancer in her left breast in addition to a massive hard lobulated tumor affixed to her chest wall and pectoral. Necrosis was also found in the tumor. Lesions were discovered in her left lung and her spine. Currently, she is undergoing chemotherapy, and must now undergo a mastectomy.

Mirose has a strong spirit and has chosen to fight. "Death is not an option" she said. Two years ago, her husband lost his battle with diabetes, leaving her to care for her three children -- one of whom is still in high school -- and two grandchildren.

As a cancer warrior, Mirose has offered hope and support to countless other cancer victims. She volunteered her story of being diagnosed with cancer which was published to encourage others experiencing cancer. Her recovery means so much, not just to our own family, but to the community she supported.

We have received some support from friends and family who wish Mirose a full recovery. Now, we are seeking donations of all sizes to help us get Mirose the treatments she needs. All funds raised will go to paying for Mirose’s mastectomy and cancer treatment as well as support her with living expenses as she receives treatments.

With your support, Mirose will have a second success story to inspire and encourage other cancer patients. Thank you in advance for empowering her to beat breast cancer for good so she can serve as a model of positivity and hope for those who suffer from this disease.

More Info

The battle we all thought Mirose fought and won 26 years ago has returned and our warrior has to once again gear up for a fight.

Her diagnosis revealed the stage of T3 N1b M0 cancer in the same left breast.   It remains uncertain if the cancer was simply dormant for all those years.  Concurrently, her diagnosis shows a massive hard lobulated tumor affixed to her chest wall and pectoral.  Necrosis was also found in the tumor.  Lesions were discovered in her left lung and her spine.

Currently, she has started chemotherapy sessions which lasted for 6 months before this next treatment phase where she will undergo a mastectomy.  Her diagnosis continues for the new lesions that were uncovered.
