Indigenous, rural communty schools are increasingly left behind in funding and adequate learning spaces. We raise the funds for materials and the community provides the work groups to repair the schools
ndigenous, rural communty schools are increasingly left behind in funding and adequate learning spaces. Often families can not afford supplies, uniforms or transportation required by city schools. To maximize learning children need an adequate and safe space. As they become adults they are eager to become productive, contributing members of their community. Without adequate space, teachers and supplies they are vulnerable to not gaining good employment or furthering their education after graduation. Through your generous donations we provide the needed supplies and the communities provide the manpower through a minga, a community work group.
