This July, I will be traveling to England with First Baptist Owasso in order to share the gospel and minister to students and their families through their partnership with UK-USA Ministries.
I was recently invited to partner with UK-USA Ministries in a unique opportunity to spread the Gospel in England. With my passion for missions and the education I received in missions at Gardner-Webb University, I am so stoked to respond to the call and invitation to go on this journey to meet the Lord where the Lord is already at work, and be the hands and feet as we have been called to do.
There is an urgent need for the gospel in England.
A city that once served as fertile ground for great Christian preaching and churches, London has grown fallow over the last 50 years. In 1963, 3.2 percent of London's population claimed to have no affiliation with religion. In 2015, that number had soared to 44.7 percent. Today, England is home to people from all backgrounds and walks of life that are starving for the gospel. UK-USA Ministries has been tirelessly working for years to reach the people of the UK.
UK-USA Ministries :
is an organization that has spent years building relationships with churches and schools all around the UK. First Baptist Owasso has been partnering with them throughout this journey, and I am excited to not only participate in their ministry this summer, but to experience firsthand what it looks like to build and maintain intentional partnerships with believers and like-minded organizations around the world.
UK-USA Ministries thrives on partnerships like this.
The organization partners with churches who adopt local schools, allowing them to literally meet kids where they are. This is the ministry we will be participating in while there. We will have the unique opportunity to serve daily in public schools, homework clubs, sports ministries, and churches in the area. This is what I'm most excited about! I am thrilled to have the chance to meet and pour into these kids during our trip. I know the Lord has grand plans for the UK, and I am excited to even be a small part of that story.
As we all know, trips like this do not happen without a strong support system of prayer, resources, and talents. Here's where you come in! I would like to ask you to commit to pray for me and my team as we prepare to head out, and throughout our trip as we minister and follow the Lord's call for us as individuals and as a team. I would also like to ask you to consider supporting me financially. The cost of the trip for me is approximately $2,300. This covers airfare, lodging, all ground transportation, and meals. No matter how you choose to support me, I'll be updating all of my social media during my trip and after we return recounting the awesome works God did on this trip!
I personally am very excited to have the opportunity to be an active member in the mission field, and I hope you are just as excited for me. No matter how you choose to support me I appreciate you taking your time to partner with me and the other members of our team.
Thank you and God bless.
