On April 13, 2009, the Ellettsville Unit of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Bloomington opened its doors to serve youth of the Ellettsville Community. Help us celebrate the 10th anniversary by participating in this campaign!!
The Ellettsville 10 for 10 Campaign to raise $10,000 to celebrate 10 years serving youth at the Boys & Girls Club in the Ellettsville community. The 10 for 10 Campaign officially launched Friday, April 26, 2019, to raise funds to support crucial programming at the Ellettsville Club. As we celebrate this incredible 10 year milestone, we invite the Ellettsville and Bloomington communities to join in to honor the past 10 years and welcome a new decade full of opportunity for the kids we serve each and every day!
The Ellettsville 10 for 10 Campaign is being powered by Smithville Fiber. As a valued member of the community, Smithville Fiber has generously pledged $5,000 to MATCH all gifts - meaning that with every donation, Smithville Fiber will double it!
While the Boys & Girls Clubs of Bloomington had been serving youth since 1956, the idea started forming in early-2007 that Ellettsville needed a safe destination for kids as well. The Youth & Community Center of Monroe County (YCCMC) was first conceived in October of 2007, and officially opened its doors to kids on April 13, 2009. Nearly 100 kids were registered in the first operating year.
Over the next year, the YCCMC evolved into the Ellettsville Unit of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Bloomington and has seen tremendous growth in both membership and daily attendance ever since!

WHAT WE DO...
The Club serves the community in two key areas: after-school programming for all area children ages 6-18, and as a provider of school-break camps year-round!
With an annual membership of only $20.00, nearly 460 kids of the Ellettsville Community are currently registered with the Ellettsville Club!
The Ellettsville Club offers quality, research-based programming in a safe environment and is run by a caring, talented and professionally-trained staff.
