Elizabeth was chosen by her teachers to be selected to go to Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL for Project Mickey with her classmates at iMiddle and OMS.  This is an amazing learning opportunity.  They will not only get the opportunity to enjoy the parks, but they will also get to go behind the scenes and learn how technology, design, engineering, theatre, mechanics, and physics all help run and operate the theme parks that we see.  This is not an opportunity for the normal park goer.  This opportunity allows them to travel to the Disney Innovation Campus, "Disney Imagineers are living proof that creativity and science are integral partners. In this interactive course, students’ curiosity is sparked by stepping into the shoes of Disney Imagineers as they explore how physics is applied to every element of the theme park experience. Here, students work in teams to investigate the role that properties such as Newton’s Laws of Motion, potential & kinetic energy, gravity, and more, play in the design and operation of popular theme park attractions (via Disney campus website)".

Again this is only open to a select few and Elizabeth was one that was chosen to do so.  In order to get this chance she needs to raise money, up to $2200.  She is asking for any help you can, so she can experience this once in a lifetime opportunity.

Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts.
