Help us raise funds to support the arts in HBUHSD & its feeder schools. The COVID-19 crisis has truly hurt these programs, but together we can get them the aide needed to remain a viable educational source for students.
From all of us at the Educational Enrichment Foundation for the Arts (EEFA), we hope that this message finds you safe and well. This is an unprecedented time in our history as the COVID-19 crisis tests all of us in a multitude of ways. While we are all feeling challenged, it is our young students that need the most consideration and additional support. EEFA’s mission is to help ensure our local students can continue their respective journeys in their visual and performing arts programs, especially in the wake of so much chaos.
Impact on school programs significant:
Sadly, every Huntington Beach Union High School District campus and feeder schools, including the auditorium at HBHS, will remain closed to all public gatherings for the remainder of the school year. This resulted in the immediate cancelation of all remaining performances, classes and year end programming for APA students, as well as all of the HBUHSD feeder schools. The fallout has left every arts program with a significant lack of funding for costs already incurred, specifically those programs and performances that were interrupted midstream.
How you can help:
We are asking each community partner to take a moment and consider a donation toward our emergency fundraiser. Together we have the capacity to ensure that our student’s educational arts experiences are not interrupted, even in the midst of an unparalleled global emergency. Your donation will be administered/distributed through an EEFA Emergency Fund to programs with the greatest need during this crisis.
