The NAACP is a national network of locally run and community funded branches. Our Washington, DC Branch was chartered 106 years ago. Today, from the U-Street Thurgood Marshall Financial Freedom Center, the DC branch works to positively affect social policy in our community. There are two ways that you can join support your local NAACP branch:
1. Donate here to provide funding for 2020 economic empowerment initiatives like financial education campaigns and outreach to families in need of income tax assistance. Donations support economic empowerment advertising, which includes financial literacy content and local resources like free volunteer income tax assistance.
