My name is Scott Anderson and I am asking for your help showing appreciation and providing comfort to the unsung heroes of the Covid pandemic crisis. As part of my requirements to achieve the rank of Eagle Scout, I am planning an Eagle Project that will benefit the employees of the Hillsborough County Nursing Home.
I plan to build three picnic tables for the employee courtyard at the Hillsborough County Nursing Home in Goffstown, NH. The doctors, nurses, food service staff and janitorial staff at the nursing home are working tirelessly to keep NH's seniors safe and healthy. My project will improve the outdoor environment where they take their well deserved breaks.
In speaking recently with the director of the facility, I have learned that although there is a small outdoor courtyard dedicated to staff, there is inadequate seating and tables to allow the staff to utilize this space. Their existing picnic tables are old and rotting. The Director stated that a service project honoring healthcare workers would be greatly appreciated by the nursing home staff, residents and their families.
I believe this project will provide benefits to the employees of the nursing home for many years to come and your help will be greatly appreciated.
I need to raise $500 to cover the cost of materials for the tables as well as sealer to ensure the tables will last. Any unused funds will be donated to the Nursing Home.
Thank you for your help!
