Update #18

Good morning!!! We have more kitties coming in from this rescue!! We are currently caring for 60 cats and another 10 came in over the weekend. Supplies including tidy cat non clumping litter, Friskies canned food (shreds or meaty bits), towels and money donations would sure be appreciated.

We took 10 kittens out of inside a trailer this weekend. These kittens are all ill and receiving medical care- which we all know are very expensive. These kitties have horrible upper respiratory infections and are extremely malnourished. They are aprox. 7-8 months old but are the size of a 14-16 week old kitten!! They will take lots of time, love, medication and good quality food before they will be ready for adoption. Please help by sharing and or donating if you are able.

Thanks for all of the love and support.

Update #17

We are still very buy working on this rescue. To date Fort Collins Cat Rescue has taken 38 kitties into their program. 2 were friendly and are now in foster care. The other 36 have gone into great working and barn homes in the Fort Collins area. Which means we still have 60 kitties in our care. Most are already fixed and vaccinated and ready for working/barn homes. Please help by spreading the word.

We are in need of pull tab canned cat food and non clumping litter - it is amazing how much food and litter they all go through. If you have donations please drop them off anytime at 1104 S. 2nd St. We have a donation box outside of our front door.

Update #8

Update - Another long, yet productive day rescuing cats. Our team did a fantastic job both hands on in the barn and behind the scenes gathering donations and supplies.
We are very grateful to everyone who has answered the call for kennels and other supplies!

Our focus will continue to be trapping, relocating, finding working/barn homes, and caring daily for these beautiful creatures.

We continue to welcome donations- specifically of litter, food, and aluminum roasting pans (used as disposable litter boxes).

We are so grateful for the Laramie community and all those who are helping us accomplish this seemingly impossible task! We are equally grateful for our friends in Ft. Collins (Ft. Collins Cat Rescue) and northern Colorado for helping!

Update #7

Update - We will also be working in conjunction with the Fort Collins Cat Rescue on this operation. Thank you so much FCCRSNC!!!!!!! Together we are going to make a huge difference.

FCCRSNC will help us fix some of the kitties at their clinic!!! What a true blessing!!!!!!

From FCCRSNC "We're in desperate need of working cat homes! We learned of a dire situation in Southern Wyoming and we are working with Laramie Animal Welfare Society to help them place dozens of community cats in working homes. If these cats don't find new homes soon, they'll face starvation, "pest control," or worse! If you have a barn, workshop, brewery, warehouse, or ranch that could use some feline workers, please apply to "hire" a working cat today! We anticipate getting many cats over the coming weeks and want to save as many as we can! Visit our website to learn more about working cats: https://www.fccrsnc.org/Service_Adoption_WorkingCats.php"
