I am raising money to build kennels for our Bernese Mountain Dogs and puppies. We need 6 kennels, a whelping room, laundry room, room to wash dogs and puppies, and have a dog and separate puppy room for when it rains.
Chris Ashy is a disabled veteran. We raise Bernese Mountain dogs for his therapy. We are with them from the second they are born. We sleep in the same room with them, we socialize and play with them, and if needed, bottle feed them every few hours. We train them to sit, stay, wait on food and water, to walk on a leash, and by the time they are 8 weeks old and we deliver them to their new homes, they are 95-98% potty trained.
We are moving Ashby Acres from Columbiaville, Michigan to the mountains of Tiger, Georgia. We are starting over and need a large kennel building so we can have our babies in their own kennels. We need a whelping room so mama is comfy delivering her babies. We need a play area for the puppies, when they are learning to play with each other and for when we start training. We need a wash area for the adults and for the puppies, along with a place for a commercial washer and dryer. Blankets and towels are washed numerous times a day! Everything must always be sanitized and clean! We also need a large fenced in area for potty training the puppies and for them to play outside.
We thank everyone for anything they can give to help out Ashby Acres.
