A team of volunteers from the US are going to Cali, Colombia in May to help set up a community kitchen in one of the poorest neighborhoods, to provide meals to the children of that community.
This May, a team of volunteers will be going to Cali, Colombia to set up a community kitchen in one of poorest neighborhoods - Los Comuneros. This community kitchen will be run by volunteers and meals will be provided daily for the children in the community. There are 41 children and $20 could feed a child for a month!
Here’s where we are at:
A space for the kitchen has already been selected and much needed repair work has begun. Equipment and supplies are being purchased and while in Cali, we will set up the kitchen and start operations.
Here’s what we need:
We need funds to continue running the kitchen. The cost of food for one child for an entire month is $20. The kitchen itself will be run by a team of volunteers from the community and all of your donation will be going towards the food and supplies.
Please join us in making a difference in these children’s’ lives by ensuring they have access to at least one full meal every day. You can support this campaign by making a one-time contribution or monthly payments to support one or more children.
