Demi's Difference is a non-profit founded to the loving memory of Demi Lynn Smith who unexpectedly passed away in December of 2014. In her 3 short years Demi touched many lives and brought joy and happiness to everyone she met. In her honor her parents Jarrod and Hayley want to pass on that same joy to other parents whose children are going through major medical care. Demi's Difference is about making things better for those parents through acts of kindness, such as a gift card for a much needed lunch break. Also through financial assistance, for example a gas card to help with the travel expenses that mount. These are just a couple of ways we can help, however Demi's Difference can do so much more and the possibilities are endless. We are not looking to cure anything or make any pain go away, we just want to brighten the lives of the people that are going through those hard times, Demi would have wanted it that way.
