Update #3

Delilah’s will eventually be a brick-and-mortar establishment. Based on current trends and successes, I would like to start with a food truck here in Greenville and the surrounding areas. This will help me build a network, a strong social media following, and incur capital to eventually purchase the restaurant.
The inspiration behind Delilah’s comes from my daughter, Lillie.
Lillie, who started calling herself “Delilah” in 8th grade, fought Cancer and its side effects since she was 6 months old. She is not only my daughter and best friend, but She is my hero.
After fighting cancer off and on for eighteen years, Lillie passed August 2nd, 2019. Lillie’s favorite things in life were cosplay, video games, social media, music, rooting for the underdog, anti-heroes, comics, and spontaneous adventures.
I was inspired to open a restaurant as a legacy project for Lillie. I have always enjoyed cooking and it is one of my languages of love. I found while adjusting to my grief that cooking for others allowed me to clear my mind and get lost in the creation of something delicious and beautiful.
The eventual theme of “Delilah’s” is “anti-hero/Villain.” Our servers will be dressed in cosplay, with an interpretation of these characters. Our entire children’s menu will be donated to nationwide childhood cancer charities or families in the battle each month.
During the month of September (Childhood Cancer Awareness Month), 50% of our profits will be donated to a cancer research company whose sole purpose is working on childhood cancer cures.
We will achieve our September goals by hosting events throughout the year within the community. We plan to commission local artists to provide artwork for the establishment, which we will host several art walks and sales throughout the year. We will also host music events to help raise funds for September.
The food truck will continue to aid us in that endeavor once “Delilah’s” has launched as a brick and mortar.
Our menu will consist of an elevated western homestyle, a combination of Wyoming and Colorado classics. This will include a Denver-mex variation, some Asian fusion, and traditional ranch-style meals.
While operating the food truck, we will rotate a menu with smaller, easily transportable dishes that represent these dishes mentioned above.
Once the food truck is in operation, we will start building further relationships with organizations that will help further our cause. We intend on building strong relationships within the community.

Delilah's Villains

A food truck is only the beginning! The idea behind Delilah's started after my daughter Lillie, Who was also known as "Delilah" passed from a rare childhood cancer in August 2019.

In an attempt to help process grief I returned to school to become a chef, as cooking has always been my language of love. More so, I needed a unique way to create a legacy for Lillie.

Delilahs will eventually be a brick-and-mortar restaurant. Our servers will be dressed as your favorite anti-heroes and villains. Our Children's menu will be 100% donated to a different childhood cancer charity or family in the battle each and every month. During the month of September, we will donate 50% of our overall profits to a research company that is focusing on childhood cancer cures.

We will be heavily involved within our community, holding events throughout the year to reach our goals.

Lillie loved cosplay, cancer treatments are often considered anti-heroes; food, and entertainment are a great way to encourage people to participate and give.

Why we need a food truck;

We want to start off right, having a food truck is a great way to get our name out within our community. In today's culture, a social media following is crucial. A food truck will also help us raise capital towards our eventual brick-and-mortar restaurant.

a completely functional food truck ranges from 50k-150k. We are only asking for help with a decent down payment towards our goal. Every dollar donated will go towards the down payment, equipment, and licensing.
